一、基本信息
廖毅,博士,华南农业大学园艺学院首聘教授。2015年毕业于中国科学院大学,获遗传学博士学位。此后先后在中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所、美国德州大学奥斯汀分校、加州大学尔湾分校和德州农工大学从事博士后与科研工作。2023年3月加入华南农业大学园艺学院。主要从事蔬菜基因组学、群体遗传学和生物信息学研究。以第一作者或通讯作者在The Plant Cell、Genome Research、Nature Communications、Molecular Biology and Evolution、Genome Biology、Horticulture Research等期刊发表论文10余篇,合作成果发表于Science、Cell、Nature Genetics、PNAS等知名期刊。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、广东省自然科学基金面上项目、国家优博专项和广东省青年人才项目等。邮箱:yiliao@scau.edu.cn

三、研究方向
研究领域主要包括植物基因组学、生物信息学、蔬菜群体遗传学与生物育种,重点关注蔬菜品质与适应性形成的遗传基础和基因组学机制。
四、课程教学
担任园艺学院本科生课程《遗传学》、《遗传学实验》、《科技前沿与行业发展(园艺)》及博士研究生课程《英文科技论文写作与学术交流(全英)》教学负责人,同时承担本科生课程《园艺植物生物技术》、《园艺植物种子生产原理与技术》以及研究生课程《园艺学研究进展》、《高级蔬菜育种学》等课程的教学工作。
