In the warm October, when the cool breeze and golden sunlight caressed our cheeks, the long awaited track and field sports meeting finally unfolded in full swing. On October 22nd, our college successfully held the 2022 Track and Field Games of the Horticultural College at the Huashan District Sports Ground.

The early bird catches the worm. At seven o'clock in the morning, students from the Youth League Committee and Student Union of the Horticultural College, as well as volunteers, began to move materials early. The project leaders and volunteers arrived at the designated location to carry out preliminary preparations for the layout and work distribution of each project. At nine o'clock, all preparations were ready and the competition officially kicked off.

This track and field sports meeting has 26 events, including 12 field events and 14 track events. More than 400 undergraduate and graduate students from the horticultural college participated in the competition.The golden sunlight lit up the direction of the journey, and the slightly hot wind blew up the fluttering courtyard flag. In this bright and hot sports stage, the running figures of teenagers are the most beautiful tribute to youth. The wind whistling in the ear and the cheering sound of students beside the track are the inexhaustible motivation for athletes to sprint and sweat like rain. With the sound of cheering, they began to sprint towards the end, towards a more enthusiastic youth.The athletes who participate in the women's 3000 meters and men's 5000 meters are the most admirable people on the court. These two competitions are not as exciting as the 100 meter race, but they can best test the physical fitness, courage, and endurance of athletes, making people feel the sportsmanship of athletes working hard and never giving up..

The athletes who completed the 400 meter relay also went all out. Every handover of the relay rod embodies everyone's hope and is full of unity. The staff and volunteers on the field, with the hot sunshine on their heads, stick to their posts and strive to bring the most fair results and considerate service to each athlete. The athletes of the high jump and long jump also go all out, not giving up every opportunity to improve themselves, and strive to obtain their own satisfactory rankings. The players who threw the shot put put put all their strength into breaking through themselves, getting farther and farther each time. Athletes who pull up and sit up constantly break through themselves on the field, striving towards higher and faster goals.At 5:10 pm, the game ended perfectly, with everyone riding in the sunset and returning with a full load. Finally, all the staff of the horticultural college sports meet took a group photo as a souvenir. 

The 2022 Track and Field Games of the Horticultural College have successfully concluded. I believe that all the athletes have harvested the sportsmanship of not being discouraged and daring to fight, the optimistic attitude of being brave to fight, and the collectivism of winning glory for the team at this Track and Field Games.
