Welcome to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, always follow the party, and forge a new journey. Coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, on May 29, the 17th Congress of the School of Horticulture, South China Agricultural University of the Communist Youth League was held in the 224 building of the School of Horticulture. Dang Lin Xi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of South China Agricultural University, Ma Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Horticulture, Zhuang Biyun, Director of the Student Affairs Office of the School of Horticulture, Zhang Yuxi, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Horticulture, as well as counselors and teachers of the School of Horticulture and representatives of the conference attended the meeting.

The meeting is divided into two parts: preparatory meeting and formal meeting. At 8:00 am, the preparatory meeting of the conference officially began. The meeting reviewed and approved the relevant reports on the preparatory work, the list of scrutineers and vote counters.

In the solemn national anthem, the official meeting kicked off. The meeting was presided over by Li Xiwen, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College of Horticulture.

Dang Lin Xi, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of South China Agricultural University, delivered a speech. In his speech, the party secretary hoped that the Youth League Committee of the Horticultural Institute would take this Youth League Congress as a starting point, sum up experience and set off again. Under the leadership of the Youth League Committee and the Party Committee of the College, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, with the main line of welcoming, learning, publicizing and implementing the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, combined with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Youth League, efforts are made to improve the guidance of youth ideology. Timeliness, focus on the center, serve the overall situation, and take practical actions to welcome the victory of the Party's 20th National Congress.

The conference heard, reviewed and approved the work report of the 16th Committee of the School of Horticulture, South China Agricultural University of the Communist Youth League. Voting to elect members of the seventeenth committee. They are (in alphabetical order by name): Wang Manfei, Guan Haiyan, Li Qianwen, Zhang Yuxi, Chen Qi, Lin Shimin, Zheng Peng, Cai Xinyan, Fan Jiarou.

Ma Qiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Horticulture, delivered a speech on behalf of the Party Committee of the School of Horticulture. Secretary Ma fully affirmed the work of the 16th Youth League Committee and put forward several requirements for the new Youth League Committee. He hopes that the staff of the Youth League Committee will take on the historical mission, bravely take on the responsibilities of the times, be based on the overall situation of reform and development, take the initiative to act, be brave in innovation, strengthen self-construction, strengthen the sense of responsibility and collective consciousness, and continue to uphold the purpose of serving students wholeheartedly. With the original intention and mission in mind, we will contribute youthful strength to the development of schools and colleges, and take practical actions to welcome the victory of the Party's 20th National Congress.

The 2020-2021 Horticultural Institute's outstanding members, cadres and outstanding league branches with outstanding achievements and outstanding performance were commended at the meeting.

In the solemn melody of Chinese Communist Youth League Song, the 17th Congress of the School of Horticulture, South China Agricultural University of the Communist Youth League came to a successful conclusion.

The regimental flag fluttered and the regiment emblem shone. Youth are the most energetic and full of dreams.
