On December 23, the College of Horticulture held the unveiling ceremony of the House of One Heart and a united front symposium in Room 507 of the courtyard building. Deng Guoan, deputy secretary of the school party committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. School Propaganda Department (United Front Work Department) Minister Yang Zhiqun, Vice Minister Zhang Muming, the school’s party and government leadership team, and representatives of teachers from democratic parties and persons without party affiliation attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yifa, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College.

At the meeting, Comrade Zhang Yifa introduced the participants, briefly reported the college's united front work, and introduced the college's achievements in discipline construction and social services. Afterwards, representatives of teachers from various democratic parties conducted in-depth exchanges on subject development, talent training, teacher team building, people's livelihood projects, and the development of united front work, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions. The college’s party and government leadership team responded positively to the relevant suggestions and hoped that everyone will continue to participate in and support the college’s work in the future, actively contribute suggestions for the college’s development, and give full play to the role of democratic supervision.

In the end, Comrade Deng Guoan congratulated the smooth inauguration of the Concentric Home of the College of Horticulture, and fully affirmed the college's achievements, good education atmosphere and excellent United Front work tradition, and put forward two hopes: First, hope the college Make good use of the platform of Concentric House and point out that the construction of Concentric House is an important measure to promote the learning and education of party history and I do practical things for the masses. Cohesion, to better give play to the role of non-Party people in advising and giving advice. Second, the college party committee should actively contact the democratic parties, take the lead in coordinating the work of people without party affiliation, support democratic parties and people without party affiliation in performing their duties and play their roles, and support and help democratic parties and people without party affiliation to strengthen their own construction.
