On the afternoon of 2^nd of September, 2016freshman parent meeting was held in the college of horticulture. The leadershipof the college、the heads ofdepartments、the teachers in the college and 120freshman parents all attended this meeting.

The dean of the college Dr Chen Houbin first expressedhis warm welcome to the parents who were from all corners of the country, andthen he introduced the challenges and prospects of the college. Meanwhile, theheads of departments introduced the development and the employment prospect ofeach department.

After the meeting, all the leadership and teachers inthe college interacted with the parents, they answered parents’ questions indetail. The CPC Secretary Chen Dequan hoped the parents could understand andsupport their children’s choices, strengthen the communication with the collegeand work together with the university to promote students’ academic achievementand help them to gain a better life.
